This year's joint Maids of Athena and Sons of Pericles President's Project is Frodizo. They are a nonprofit voluntary organization with their mission being to support elderly individuals—especially those with dementia—and their families.

They run several programs and services designed around dementia care such as Home Intervention for Dementia by visiting and providing support services in people’s homes for individuals with dementia and their caregivers. Day Care Center for People with Dementia where people with Alzheimer’s or similar disorders can spend part of the day in a structured, supportive environment. A Memory Support Office which serves as a resource for residents (55+) in Patras and nearby towns to help with memory issues—either for themselves or family members who have dementia. As well as caregivers Training Seminars which are educational seminars (“Educate and Care”) for family members and health professionals on how to care for people with dementia.
