MAID TO LEAD
Each year the Grand Lodge selects a group of young women to participate in the annual Maid to Lead program. This program focuses on 4 key areas: Wellness, Auxiliaries, Events & Fundraising, and Marketing and PR. In the Spring, the Maids to Lead Committee Chairs select young women from their committee to participate in the Maid to Lead conference.
WELLNESS
THE WELLNESS COMMITTEE IS TASKED WITH FINDING WAYS TO INCORPORATE MENTAL AND PHYSICAL WELLNESS INTO THE LIVES OF MEMBERS AND THEIR CHAPTERS.
EVENTS & FUNDRAISING
THE EVENTS & FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE IS TASKED WITH PLANNING EVENTS AND BRAINSTORMING FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE MAIDS OF ATHENA.
SCHOLARSHIP & LEADERSHIP
THE SCHOLARSHIP AND LEADERSHIP COMMITTEE FOCUSES ON IMPROVING OUR NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP AND PROMOTING EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES.
ALSO FOCUSING ON EDUCATING OUR MEMBERS IN VARIOUS LEADERSHIP ROLES, AND PROMOTING NETWORKING WITHIN OUR ORDER.
MARKETING & PUBLIC RELATIONS
THE MARKETING AND PR COMMITTEE IS TASKED WITH CRAFTING IDEAS FOR GROWING THE MAIDS OF ATHENA SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS TO REACH OUR GREATEST POTENTIAL.

Committee meetings have started! Our Maid to Lead Program will be held on March 17-19th in Waterbury, CT. The weekend will be centered around Sisterhood and leadership as our members will have the opportunity to have a productive, collaborative meeting together.
