Kalliopi Protopapas

Grand Secretary

Kalliopi Protopapas joined the Maids of Athena in January 2023, through the Diana #3 Chapter in Portland, Oregon upon its reactivation. She jumped right in, serving two terms as Chapter President (2023-2024) and then one term as Chapter Vice President (2024-2025). During that time, she worked to bring her chapter closer together and create a bond with her sisters through the first few years of the chapters reactivation. She also helped her chapter get more involved within their community. Kalliopi was part of the Maids to Lead program for two years. First, she was on the Scholarship and Leadership Committee and then on the Wellness Committee—where she got to attend the conference in Washington, DC and connect with members across the country and grow her leadership skills. She is currently a student at the University of Oregon working toward her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Criminology. Outside of school, she’s very involved in her church and serves as Head of her university’s Orthodox Christian Fellowship. Kalliopi loves that the Maids of Athena has helped her grow as a leader, stay connected to her Greek heritage, and make friendships that will last a lifetime. Kalliopi was elected as Grand Secretary at the 103rd Supreme Convention in Orlando, Fl. She is the liaison to Districts 3, 10,17, 20 & 23.
